About The Foundation
The Nick Costa and Jim Vandewater “Friends in Heaven” Memorial Foundation was organized to pay tribute to two fine young men who were tragically taken from us in November 2007. The Nick and Jim Memorial Foundation is a Registered 501 C3 Non-Profit Organization.
Our Work
Each year we award two annual scholarships to graduating seniors of Steinert High School, one to a varsity hockey player in Nick’s honor, and another to a student who plans to study culinary arts in Jim’s honor. The Foundation also provides financial assistance to local families who are facing hardships in their lives.
